Roles & Responsibilities
- Coordinate with the site execution team and ensure that all approved drawings are shared and implemented correctly on site.
- Liaise with consultants for civil-related submissions, design clarifications, and approvals.
- Coordinate with subcontractors for timely submission of engineering documents including:
Prequalification (PQ) documents
Material and sample submittals
Shop drawings - Raise RFIs (Requests for Information) whenever discrepancies or conflicts are identified in the drawings.
- Review shop drawings prepared by drafts men to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
- Review interior design (ID) drawings received from consultants or clients and provide feedback to align with site and project needs.
- Provide technical details and input to the procurement team to help finalize procurement packages and ensure correct materials are sourced.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field; advanced degrees are a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in a technical engineering role, preferably in the relevant industry.
- Proficiency in CAD software or other design tools, showcasing a strong ability to create technical drawings.
- Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues in a timely manner.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Fluency in English is required; additional language skills are an advantage in global projects.
- A proactive attitude and strong problem-solving skills, ready to tackle challenges head-on with innovative solutions.
