We are currently seeking an experienced and dependable Plastic Extruder Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for operating extrusion machinery used in the production of plastic products, ensuring consistent quality and efficient output in accordance with company and industry standards.
This involves setting up the equipment, monitoring the process, adjusting controls to maintain quality, and performing routine maintenance. They work in various industries like plastics, aerospace, and automotive manufacturing, producing items such as pipes, wires, and automotive parts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Machine Setup and Operation:Setting up the extrusion machine, including selecting and installing dies, configuring controls, and adjusting temperatures and pressures.
- Process Monitoring:Observing the extrusion process to ensure the material is being shaped correctly and according to specifications.
- Quality Control:Inspecting the extruded products for defects, making adjustments to maintain quality, and measuring dimensions.
- Maintenance:Performing routine maintenance tasks like cleaning, lubricating, and making minor repairs to the machinery.
- Record Keeping:Recording production data, machine settings, and maintenance activities.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Technical Skills: Understanding the extrusion process, machine operation, and maintenance.
